In our facility, participants will meet knowledgeable and caring people who focus on positive reinforcement, trust-building and the achievement of goals by engaging in one-on-one or group activities. Mentoring and life skills programs and therapeutic equine-activities and learning offer a hands-on approach to character building and confidence.
Mentors and facilitators will conduct ongoing assessments regarding individuals and groups at the facility, monitoring for improvement throughout their time in services. Roughout Ranch staff and volunteers will have quarterly support meetings to discuss strategies, successes, and opportunities for improvement.

The ranch was developed in 1973 and will contribute to the county's needs and be a center for community events, life skills programs, mentoring and equestrian services.

Horses and ranch life encourage social and emotional learning, healthy transitions and relationships, and independence. They also promote awareness of critical traits, such as a sense of purpose and community, nutritional awareness, and building confidence. By using equine-assisted activities and ranch life to teach life skills, we can achieve our goal of improving the quality of life, self-confidence, and overall health.
